Benediction: Ephesians 1:1-3

I think if we, the church, want to live into the resurrected life we have been called to, the first step is the most obvious, the most overlooked, and the hardest step in the process to swallow.

It is that to be resurrected, you must be dead.

And once you can recognize that, then you can ask “Who do dead people serve? Who do dead people love? Who do dead people judge? Who do dead people condemn?” And when you answer those questions you can get a pretty clear picture of your rights outside of Christ Jesus.

But what about in Christ Jesus, who is the resurrection and the life?

In Christ Jesus, you get to trade your death for a life in which there is now no condemnation.

And in Christ Jesus we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

May you go in Peace.
